Our Legacy: The Delaware Veterans Parade
For years, the Delaware Community has come together to commemorate the valiant sacrifices of our veterans through the Delaware Veterans Parade. We are the largest Veterans Parade in Central Ohio. This annual event serves as a vivid testament to the unwavering spirit of our community, reminding us all of the brave souls who have selflessly served our country. Each parade carries a theme, a story, and a message – aiming to bridge the gap between generations and educate our younger community members about the significance of our veterans’ contributions.
Parade Route
The Delaware Veterans Parade for 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 2. The parade will begin its march at 3 p.m., stepping off from the Delaware County Fairgrounds. It will proceed to travel down Pennsylvania Avenue, continuing on to North Sandusky Street, passing through downtown Delaware, and finally concluding its route near Wilmer Street. We look forward to seeing everyone there to honor and celebrate our veterans, especially as we pay special tribute to the Vietnam veterans and the servicemen from Delaware County who were killed in action during the conflict.
