Fundraiser for Ohio Fallen Officer sto be held June 12, 2021.
The Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Inc. is a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles. In the spring of 1974, several law enforcement officers from the Bangor, Maine, USA area met and formed a small, local motorcycle club. The Blue Knights® LEMC have approximately 650 chapters, 19,500+ members in 11 Conferences within 29 countries. Ohio V is a subordinate Chapter and is located here in Central Ohio.
This year Ohio V will honor fallen Officers in the State of Ohio, as we have with our previous rides/fundraisers. We will be honoring officers that have fallen in the line of duty in the State of Ohio last year.
Each year, officers are seriously injured and killed in the line of duty, and their families and co-workers are left to cope with this tragedy. With this event, Ohio V hopes to help to provide resources to help the families rebuild their shattered lives.
We plan on several activities to raise money for the families to assist them in their everyday struggles. We will be holding an auction, raffles and will be giving out door prizes.
This year’s Fundraiser / Motorcycle Ride, the Blue Knights will have a Poker Ride and the event is scheduled for June 12th. The ride starts at Iron Pony Motorsports at 5436 Westerville Rd in Westerville.
Registration begins at 9:00 am. The ride is self-paced. The cost is $25.00 per rider (passengers free). Riders will be able to purchase extra player sheets for $10 per sheet.
The proceeds of the ride will be distributed to the families of fallen officers.
