ON-AIR CONTEST
Central Ohio Qfm96 (WLVQ-FM) listeners who are 18 and over may tune in on-air at 96.3FM, stream Qfm96 online at Qfm96.com, or download the free Qfm96 app in Google Play or Apple App Store to stream the station live weekdays (Monday – Friday) beginning 7:00 am, Monday, 07/11/2022 through 7:00 pm, Friday, 07/29/2022 (“promotional period”), for daily chances to win a $100.00 gas card.
To win, listeners must hear the “Get Tanked” cue to call sounder sometime during Mornings between 7:00 am -10 am, Middays between 10:00 am-3:00 pm, or Afternoons between 3:00 pm-7:00 pm and be the caller number three (3) to 614-821-9696. Fifteen (15) total listeners will have the chance to win a $100.00 gas gift card on-air daily, 7:00 am-7:00 pm weekdays (Monday-Friday) between Monday, 07/11/2022 and Friday, 07/29/2022. One on-air (1) winner per day. Once a listener has won, they are no longer eligible to win again during the remainder of the on-air “promotional period.” No purchase necessary. The total approximate retail MSRP of the Prize is $100.00.
Qfm96 cannot be held responsible for phone difficulties or the inability of any listener to reach Qfm96 at said number.
All daily on-air winners will be contacted by phone to confirm their prize on their respective winning dates. Prize winners will have their first and last names and city of residence posted on Qfm96.com and may be shared on Qfm96’s social media accounts.
ONLINE CONTEST
Central Ohio Qfm96 (WLVQ-FM) listeners who are 18 and over may also enter at Qfm96.com beginning at 7:00am Monday, 07/11/22 through 11:59 pm, Friday, 07/29/2022 (“promotional period”), for one (1) additional chance to win a $100.00 gas card by providing information, including but not limited to, full name, home address, date of birth, email address, and phone number. No purchase necessary.
The online portion of this contest is being conducted concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations in Columbus, Ohio affiliated with Columbus Radio Group, including WLVQ-FM and WSNY-FM. Each contest is represented by its own unique promotional name, but listeners of said stations will be competing to win the same prize.
The winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of Qfm96, Sunny 95, and the Columbus Radio Group. One (1) online entry per person. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or contestant will be disqualified. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any attempt by any contestant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using the same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that contestant’s entries, and that contestant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any online registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed as the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. To win a prize you must reside within the listening area of Qfm96 and Sunny 95 as defined at the exclusive discretion of Qfm96 and Sunny 95 management.
Any problems with the internet, email, web browser compatibility, and/or other web-related issues are not the responsibility of Qfm96, Sunny 95, or the Columbus Radio Group.
Due to the nature of our programs that are heard online over the internet, contests may not be heard at all on Qfm96 and Sunny 95. Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream and app stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet and app are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when Qfm96 and Sunny 95 contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 3 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the online and app audio streams may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.
At approximately 9:00 am, Monday, 08/01/2022, a representative from Qfm96 and Sunny 95 will randomly choose – from among all qualified online entries – one (1) Prize winner. The winner will be contacted by phone on Monday, 08/01/2022, to confirm the Prize. The winner will receive the Prize of a $100.00 gas gift card worth an approximate MSRP value of $100.00. The winner’s full name and city of residence will be posted online at Qfm96.com and Sunny95.com and may also be shared on the Qfm96 and Sunny 95 social media accounts.
Qfm96 and Sunny 95 will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning. Prizes may be claimed at the radio stations located at 4401 Carriage Hill Lane, Columbus, OH 43220 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Qfm96 and Sunny 95’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. Winners will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes as well as all fees associated with the prize. The winner must have a valid state ID and complete an IRS Form W-9 to collect the prize. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. By entering this contest, participants understand the nature of the prize they are competing to win. In the event that the prize winner declines acceptance of any of the prizes, an alternate eligible winner will be randomly chosen. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qfm96 and Sunny 95 contests are open to all eligible Columbus, Ohio residents 18 or older that have not won anything on Qfm96 or Sunny 95 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Qfm96, Sunny 95, Columbus Radio Group, Franklin Communications, Inc, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the Qfm96 and Sunny 95 main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.
