COLUMBUS – The Clippers won a duel with the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre RailRiders pitching staff with a walkoff RBI Thursday night at Huntington Park.
Columbus starter Zach Plesac and closer Tim Herrin (6-2) allowed only one hit, a solo home run to Michael Hermosillo, and struck out eight hitters.
Raynel Delgado tied the score with a solo homer off Aaron McGarity (6-3) in the eighth and Kyle Manzardo scored the game-winner on a groundout by Johnathan Rodríguez in the ninth.
