LOUISVILLE – The Clippers beat the Louisville Bats 4-1 Sunday to earn a split of the six-game series at Louisville Slugger Field.
Gabriel Arias hit a tie-breaking solo home run in the sixth inning off Bats starter Justin Nicolino (2-4).
Arias started the scoring with an RBI single in the first and scored the final run on Sandy Leon’s two-run single in the eighth.
Konnor Pilkington (1-0) picked up his first win of the season.
