COLUMBUS – Troy Johnston blasted a three-run home run to center field in the fourth inning, breaking a 2-all tie and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp went on to beat the Clippers 8-4 Sunday afternoon, earning a split of a six-game series at Huntington Park.
The Clippers had tied the score in the third on a solo homer by Jose Tena off Ryan Weathers (2-0) before Johnston sent a Joey Cantillo (4-3) pitch 411 feet over the center field wall.
