COLUMBUS – One man was killed and another was in critical condition after a shooting on the Northeast Side Friday night.
Homicide Unit detectives say there are no known suspects and several possible motives are being investigated in the shooting at the Central Square Apartments in the 1800 block of Forest Village Lane.
Officers who arrived at the address at 8:53 p.m. on a reported shooting found Jordan Kinchen and another man, whose name had not been released early Monday.
Kinchen, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene by Columbus paramedics, Sgt. Stanley Latta said.
The second victim was listed in critical condition at an area hospital.
This is the 88th homicide of 2018 in Columbus
