Bengals’ Burrow forced out of loss to Ravens with sprained wrist

BALTIMORE (AP) — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has a sprained right wrist that forced him out of his team’s 34-20 loss to Baltimore.

Burrow left in the second quarter Thursday night after throwing a 4-yard scoring pass to Joe Mixon.

A short while later, he tried a practice throw and the ball slipped out of his hand and he winced.
Burrow went down the tunnel with a frustrated look on his face.

Burrow was 11 of 17 for 101 yards and a touchdown when he left the game. Backup Jake Browning replaced him with the Bengals down 14-10.

Burrow dealt with a calf injury earlier this season, but he hasn’t missed a game this year.

The AFC North-leading Ravens completed a head-to-head sweep of Cincinnati and moved to 2 1/2 games ahead of the last-place Bengals.

Lamar Jackson threw for 264 yards and two second quarter touchdown passes.
