COLUMBUS – Police were looking Friday morning for a man who was wanted on a murder charge in connection with a double shooting at a Northeast Side restaurant late Thursday night.
Lionel Anthony, 26, was the suspect in the shooting death of Daylyn Medley, who was shot along with Davonte Jacobs at Dino’s Pub and Pizza, 2477 E. Dublin-Granville Road at approximately 10:42 p.m., Homicide Unit detectives said.
Officers responding to a report of a shooting found numerous people running from the restaurant and a large disturbance going on inside, police said.
Medley, 24, and Jacobs, 23, were both found inside, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medley was pronounced dead at the scene while Jacobs was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive, investigators said.
This is the 26th Homicide in Columbus in 2016.
