COLUMBUS – A father reportedly shot his son to death on the East Side in one of two deadly shootings in Columbus Saturday.
Officers found Kenneth Robinson Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the backyard of a home in the the 1000 block of Wildwood Avenue just before 5:10 a.m., Sgt. David Shimberg of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.
Robinson, 22, was taken to a hospital where Shimberg says he died at 5:37 a.m.
The initial investigation revealed that the incident involved a domestic dispute.
This incident is still under investigation.
NE Side shooting is city’s 95th homicide
A 26-year-old man died after being shot on the Northeast Side Saturday night, Sgt. Edward Powell III of the homicide unit said.
Officers responding to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of E 13th Avenue at approximately 8:04 p.m. found Shomari Little suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Little died later at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Powell said.
