COLUMBUS – A food service concept that has been catching on in other states is coming to central Ohio.
California-based Kitchen United plans to open its first three Mix Food Hall locations in Ohio inside three Columbus-area Kroger stores, the two companies announced Monday.
Mix Food Halls, currently operating in Arizona, California, Illinois, New York and Texas, feature at least a half dozen national restaurant brands, including Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, Genghis Grill, Hardee’s and Nathan’s Famous.
Customers can order for pickup or delivery at on-site digital kiosks, online or through an app.
The first Mix Food Halls are scheduled to open this fall inside Kroger locations at 3417 N. High Street in Clintonville, 7625 Sawmill Road in Dublin, and 300 S. Hamilton Road in Gahanna. Final details are to be announced later.
