CANTON (AP) — Jim Brown’s extraordinary life was celebrated in a moving tribute just a short walk from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
With dozens of fellow Hall members dressed in their signature gold jackets in attendance, the late Browns running back was remembered for being one of the NFL’s best players and so much more.
Brown died in May at the age of 87, but his legacy lives on through his social activism.
Former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis (above) was one of several speakers to praise Brown for his mentorship and contributions beyond football.
