COLUMBUS – Police have very few clues to go on in their search for suspects in a deadly shooting outside an East Side bar early Thursday.
Allen Wright II was found lying in a parking lot in the 6000 block of E. Broad Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, at 12:44 a.m. by officers responding to a report of a shooting, Sgt. Eric Pilya of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.
Wright, 25, died later at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
There were no witnesses at scene when detectives arrived and there was no suspect information Thursday morning, Pilya said.
This is the 92nd homicide of 2022 in Columbus.

Second teen suspect arrested in double slaying
A 16-year-old boy was arrested Thursday on two counts of murder in connection with the deaths of a teen and an 18-year-old man on the Northeast Side in June.
Baron Anderson was taken to the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center
Anderson and 15-year-old Terrell Hicks-Freeman were charged in the June 3 shooting deaths of Makhy Andrews, 15, and Layton Ridgedell, 18, Sgt. Edward Powell III of the Homicide Unit said.
Hicks-Freeman was arrested by Columbus police on Aug. 24, Powell said.
Andrews was found in a vehicle in the area of N. Hamilton Road and Warner Road and Ridgedell was found in a parking lot a few blocks away, where detectives believe the shooting took place.
These were the 55th and 56th homicides of the year in Columbus, Powell said.
