COLUMBUS – Authorities hope an image created by a forensic artist will help them identify a man whose body was found in an East Side park this summer.

The man was found dead on July 20 at Fairwood Park on Fairwood Avenue, according to a joint news release from the offices of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Franklin County Coroner Dr. Anahi Ortiz.
The man is estimated to have been between 40 and 60 years old and was six feet tall.
He had black and gray hair and was wearing a hospital-style shirt and pants, socks, and tennis shoes when he was found. He had no scars, marks, or tattoos on his body.
Foul play is not suspected, DeWine and Ortiz said.
The artist’s depiction, created by an artist at the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and based on a photograph taken after the man’s death, was designed in an effort to generate tips about his identity.
“My hope is that by releasing this photograph, we can provide closure to the family and friends of this man,” Ortiz said.
