The whereabouts of Truss, whose last known address was on Antwerp Street on the East Side of Columbus, were unknown early Tuesday and police were asking that the 21-year-old man surrender himself peacefully to authorities “to insure his safety and the safety of all parties involved.”

The case is still ongoing and information is being gathered in an effort to positively identify the remaining parties involved in this incident.

Truss and another man allegedly fired multiple gunshots at each other unknown male inside and outside the Carter’s children’s apparel store at the mall on March 3, prompting an evacuation but causing no reported injuries, detectives said.

The mall is in the jurisdiction of the Columbus  Division of Police but is located in Delaware County where the charge has been filed.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det. Adam Federer at the Felony Assault Unit at 614-645-4141 or Crimes Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
