COLUMBUS – The Clippers mustered only two hits, both by Bryan Lavastida, in a 5-3 loss to the St. Paul Saints at Huntington Park Wednesday night.
Lavastida accounted for both hits and both Columbus runs, racing home on a ground ball by George Valera in the first inning and driving in a run with a double in the eighth.
Kody Funderburk (3-0) got the win for St. Paul.
