ST. PAUL, Minn. – The St. Paul Saints plated three runs in the second inning and went on to beat the Clippers 6-1 Wednesday night at CHS Field.
Jair Camargo and Andrew Stevenson got the Saints off to a fast start with a pair of RBI singles and David Festa(1-0) struck out seven hitters over five innings.
The Clippers’ only run came on a solo home run by David Fry in the third.
Jerad Eickhoff (1-5) gave up all of the Saints’ runs.
