COLUMBUS – A Westerville woman wanted for her role in the robbery and murder of a man in 2021 has surrendered to police.
Sydney Freshour, 20, allegedly lured Tristan Foor to a home in to the 4900 block of Aspen Pine Boulevard on January 27, 2021, where Freshour and Elias Malone intended to rob him, Sgt. James Marable of the Columbus police homicide unit said.
During the robbery attempt, Foor, 22, was shot and killed.
Marable says detectives filed arrest warrants charging Freshour with murder and aggravated robbery in connection with the incident. She voluntarily turned herself in.
Malone, who had approached officers who were guarding the scene and admitted to detectives to shooting and killing Foor, was arrested and indicted on charges of murder, tampering with evidence and carrying a concealed weapon. The 20-year-old Malone is currently in the Franklin County Jail, Marable said.
