COLUMBUS – A man and woman were killed and another man injured in a triple shooting on a West Side street early Sunday morning, police said.
Officers responding to a reported shooting in the intersection of W. Mound Street and S. Souder Avenue at approximately 3:30 a.m. found two men and a woman inside a vehicle in the intersection, Sgt. Eric Pilya of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.
UPDATE 3/6/23 10:08 a.m.: Columbus police has released more information about the victims in this incident.
Ziyahad Brown, 28, and David Thomas, 27, were transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
A 27-year-old man whose name was not released was transported to OSU Wexner Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
Police had not named any suspects or released the identities or any other information about the victims as of early Monday.
