It’s been a while since our friends at Seventh Son Brewing stopped by the studio. Owner, Collin Castore caught up with Archie during “I’d Tap That” to share some new brews and talk about what’s been happening at the family of breweries. The guys took to the airwaves while sampling three different Seventh Son beers including Cosmic Orb – a pale ale with 5.5% ABV; Who’s in Charge Here? – a new IPA with an experimental west coast chico yeast that ferments clean with a pop of tropical flavors, and Oubliette – the brewery’s original imperial stout with cacao, dried fruit, and big roast flavors.
New things happening at the brewery – Wood-burning firepits have been added to the Seventh Son Brewery patio. Now, guests can relax by a fire, staying warm while drinking a cold brew and enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. The brewery has recently partnered with OSU to promote the brand in a unique way. They’ve signed NIL contracts with top Ohio State athletes in sports such as lacrosse, volleyball, track and field, fencing, and more. The goal of the partnership is to support and recognize that hard-working athletes (21+) can also take a break and have a good time while the brewery also promotes non-traditional sports.
