As part of our Qfm9″6-pack of Columbus”, CEO of 1487 Brewery, Ben King, and Head Brewer, Matt Crema, joined Archie for an “I’d Tap That” edition of the Joe Show Drive at 5 to talk about their recently opened brewery. 1487 Brewery uses traditional Bavarian ingredients and brewing techniques with a modern American twist. Right now the brewery is open for beer sales only, but closer to December the brewery will be full service with alcohol (spirits and wine) and food! Of course, the brewery is following all COVID-19 guidelines to bring each guest the safest experience while visiting the brewery.
Ben and Matt brought eight different beers to sample including their Kölsch, Altbier, Vienna Lager, Hefeweizen, Dunkel Weizen, Raspberry Weiss, New England IPA and Blood Orange IPA. But, no visit to the Qfm96 studio would be complete without a sample from the kitchen, so the guys brought Bavarian Pretzel Bites and House Made Bier Cheese which YOU TOO will be able to sample at 1487 Brewery in just a few weeks.
