It was great to have Seventh Son Brewing and Antiques on High back in the studio for this “I’d Tap That” edition of the Joe Show Drive at 5. Collin Castore, Sara Hollabaugh, and Billy Schwab from Seventh Son were joined by Ehab Omran and Justin Young from South of Eden for the first-ever “I’d Tap That” where local brewers and musicians come together in studio to share the mic and some brews; set to the soundtrack of an hour of the best Iconic Rock in Columbus.
It had been a while since Seventh Son was in studio, so Archie caught up with them while sampling two of their new beers, Murmuration – a blended barrel-aged imperial stout that is out of this work, and Tuk Tuk – a rice lager that is dry and light. The Seventh Son crew also talked to Archie about their newest brewery in Bridge Park of Dublin. Getaway Brewing Co., aka “The Getaway,” is a unique brewery concept located in Dublin, Ohio on the banks of the Scioto River featuring beer, wines & cocktails that will take you on your new favorite vacation. Be sure you visit the new Getaway in Dublin along with Antiques on High in the Brewery District and Seventh Son Brewing in historic Italian Village next time you need to quench your thirst or pick up some fresh, cold brews.
South of Eden stopped by to hang out and promote their show at The King of Club, which rocked hard Saturday, August 7th. They shared great stories from the road, talked about new upcoming music, and updated Archie on their latest tour now that concerts are back in full swing. If you haven’t heard South of Eden yet, be sure to check them out here for original, mid-western rock n’ roll with a heavy iconic rock influence.
