Somewhere In Particular Brewing

From golf teacher to beer enthusiast, Brewmaster Jimmy Clark of Somewhere In Particular (S.I.P.) Brewing joined Archie for an I’d Tap That edition of the best hour of rock in town, the Joe Show Drive at 5. Jimmy came to be S.I.P.’s current Brewmaster by accident and passion. Before beer, he was a golf teaching professional but suffered an injury in 2016. While in recovery he immersed himself in the world of brewing. A self-taught brewer, Jimmy developed a passion and intellect for his craft. If you see Jimmy while you’re at the brewery, say hello and give him shout-out for all the great beer you can enjoy at S.I.P.

Jimmy shared four of the brewery’s staple beers with Archie, Deflate Gate – a New England Hazy IPA brewed with Citra, Lemondrop, and Sultana hops. The ultimate hoppy juice bomb.  Ez Peezy – an easy drinking session IPA sitting at 4.2% brewed with Cryo Citra and Cryo Mosaic hops. Life in the Limelight –  a sour ale brewed with Lime and Tangerine. Perfect on a hot sunny day! And, Prickle Rick –  a sour ale brewed with Red Prickly Pear Fruit. Tart, crisp, and a hint of vanilla. Be sure to ask for the “50/50” next time you’re in the brewery. It’s a delicious concoction of Prickle Rick and Life in the Limelight that was the brainchild of Jimmy’s girlfriend that’s so good it’s been added to S.I.P.’s menu. Be sure to check out the full menu here. There are great food items to pair with all of Jimmy’s brilliant brews, including pizzas, sandwiches, and more.
