Jen Burton, Mike O, and Billy from Seventh Son Brewing stopped by the Qfm96 studio to share some brews with Archie during another “I’d Tap That” edition of the Joe Show Drive at 5. While sampling his favorite IPA, Archie learned about the variations of brewing techniques that are used to slightly change the flavor of the beer by adding and subtracting hops. The crew also touched on how the patio season is going and how it will be transitioning to football season soon. Archie wished a surprise Happy 40th Birthday to Mike O’Shaughnessy who apparently neglected to tell his co-workers. And, we learned about Seventh Son’s sister brewer, Antiques on High, which features sour and wild beers as well as hazy hop-forward IPAs and pale ales.
